Every fortnight the decks get unplugged and Suga Suga comes alive with G-strings (from guitars) and live band business.
After several acts on the bill entertained and warmed the crowd including Goodness from the rising force that are the Renegade Boys. Artists braved the small venue and were face to face with their appreciative crowd. Just before the main features music lovers were treated to some beat-boxing madness from LainHart, RWD especially loved the Always Coca-cola number where he did the beat, the chorus and the lyrics ALL AT ONCE! Leaving the crowd smiling, clapping and singing the rest of the advert (with a few girls in the audience closing their eyes trying to picture Tyrese).
L Man (pictured) and Narstie then graced the stage (well area at the front) and dropped an acoustic version of Let Me Tell You About… the track which landed them music channel fame. Then both went on to entertain the spectators with bars the Milkybar Kid would be proud of. L Man stole the show and again proved why labels are sniffing around him and other unsigned talent.
Last but definitely not least the big haired big talented Nate James kicked back with his guitarist and really set the tone. After the crowd forced him to perform his first hit, funnily enough entitled Set the Tone, he dropped some mellow B-side business and impressed with another soulful number off of the album. Despite not blessing us with Universal Mr James excelled, proving why all should GO OUT AND BUY HIS ALBUM which was released on Monday.
We must say the host for this week, Twin B from 1Xtra, smashed it and his comical quips put a smile on many a face.
Also RWD gives a standing written ovation to Cassel the resident drummer who excelled when laying down beats for artists to utilise.
A good night was had by all
