Roll Deep - Give Up

This tune is sick. SHUT YOUR MUM!!!

ps - I can't take credit for the amazing phrase that is 'SHUT YOUR MUM'. I wish I could!!! Its a sick hybrid that first emerged in the hate-filled RWD office.

ps - SHUT YOUR MUM!!!

Ruff Squad - RSMD

Loving this track. And like the video too.

The only negatives are Rapid's lips are Xtra (see what I did there) dry and I had Shifty's leather jacket about 12 years ago. Another than that 4.45 out of 5.

Who Knows About? The Frame Butchers

The Frame Butchers?

After RWD in Stereo, I had to give these visual misfits a mention. Twas a decent VDJ set.

The Last Dollar!!!

New York - Part 3 of 3: Our Sightseeing Game Was Tight!!!

Not only was our shopping game on-point like Eric Bristow’s best session rate (who knows about Woodbury Common) but our sightseeing game was ridunckulous!!! We saw everything from Harlem to Brooklyn Bridge, literally. The first thing though was Times Square… what a bright place that is. It may have been my second visit to the Big Apple but certain sights like the aforementioned @ Broadway and 42nd are amazing, every time. It’s like an overgrown concrete Christmas tree and the electricity-draining boards are stacked one on top of the other like somekind of electronic advertising car park. Imagine Piccadilly Circus… but not shit.

Times Square

The Rockefeller Centre

There was a debate as to whether the view of New York is better from the Top of the Rock or the top of the Empire State Building. I can easily say the view from the Top of the Rock is better… because you can see the Empire State Building. Simple.

View from the Rockefeller Centre

The New York Times

Everything in New York is big. Here is a pic of their “local” newspaper…

The New York Times

Here is a pic of my local paper (I didn’t take it… I stole it from Google)…

For some reason I think The New York Times looks better. Come on Camden Council fix up, I know there was a bit of a situation the other day (when about 12% of Camden burnt down) but come on.

The Brooklyn Bridge

This place is just great. We were gonna walk across to Brooklyn but it was long. Instead we went about a third of the way down and took pics in ore. This is one of my favourite New York attractions/ sights. I don’t even know why… I just really like it.

Brooklyn Bridge

The Statue of Liberty

Like Liberty Island a lot but it was colder than the sole of a penguin’s foot so it took away the beauty. Instead I was waiting for that stinking boat to come back and take me to my nice hotel room (where a sweet 5% lady called Ms Becks was waiting).

Statue of Liberty

Wall Street

This is the financial capital of the world (I heard that somewhere) me and my bank account have no business being here.

Apple Shop 5th Avenue New York (Secret Filming)

Here is a secret filming I did whilst going to buy my new iPod. I don’t know why… I just did it. Please don’t judge me on my random/ seemingly pointless antics. After we witnessed security confiscating cameras, telling people to stop filming and acting generally plump-headed, it seemed only fitting to comeback under the cover of darkness and secretly invade the underbelly of their flagship store.

Ps – It’s not better than the one on Regent’s Street and she knows it. Next thing she’s using my ipod!!!

New York - Part 2: What’s Cool

If you haven't been to New York it's pretty simple really. It's a great place but there’s not really a sophisticated format to the joint. When you’re not in a taxi…

Taxi Queue

You’ll be on the Subway… I love this sign.

No Stereos!!!

When you’re not on the subway, you’ll be shopping. Here is a blurry fiasco of a pic of me on 5th Avenue opposite the underground Apple Shop. It symbolises the hustle and bustle of Manhattan. It truly is the city that doesn’t sleep – Even though I heard snoring over on the Upper West Side (near Broadway and 75th).

5th Avenue

When you’re not shopping, you’ll be eating! The food is great. I recommend The Shake Shack in Madison Square Park (near the Flat Iron Building) – make sure you get a Flat Top Dog without cheese. For some reason American’s put cheese on eeeeeverytthing. I even saw cheese on a dog shit once. If you want to LIVE do not go to iHops (The International House of Pancakes) . ANY MEAL THERE WILL TAKE OFF FIVE YEARS OF YOUR LIFE. Despite tasting like the Virgin Mary crafted each feast herself… the gallons of grease WILL get ya.

Notice the cheese on the eggs…???Bacon, CHEESE, sausage and Eggs

New York - Part 1: Hooters Was Weak!!!

Hooters Was Weak!!!

New York was great but Hooters was weak. The girls were not Hooterific like Big Daddy suggests. This one girl was working her tip game like the sweaty guy was some kind of oil baron - or she just liked his BORING conversation (probably about him trying to allocate more server space somewhere).

She was shameless, he was shameless. Hooters was weak.

I've Been in New York...

Firstly, I would like to apologise for my lack of blogging. I've been in New York for a week (it was great, thanks for asking). Before that I had to do LOADS of work so I can have trouble free time off.

For those thinking "Didn't you go to America in August?” Yes, I did. And what? I booked a flight for no reason (like the lyrics suggest) and it was big.

So once I catch up with London life, I’ll do a blogging spree...

Nonsense, soon come.
